The Summer Set - Blossom Tour Review
On Friday April 21, TLA in Philadelphia welcomed The Summer Set for an incredible sold-out night on their Blossom Tour joined by Taylor Acorn and Grayscale. Being their first headline tour in 7 years, fans were eager and ecstatic to see their favorite band back on that stage together again.
First up was Taylor Acorn as she opened her set powerfully with Wishing You Hell, I Think I'm In Love, and Certified Depressant. Taylor Acorn took the stage with energy and confidence, starting the show off on a great note. She continued her set with songs Coma, Psycho, and Shapeshifting, and got the crowd up off their feet as she got the fans excited for the night they had ahead of them.
Up next were Philly locals, Grayscale! The band's hometown crowd went wild as they took the stage, opening their set with Dirty Bombs, Motown, and In Violet. Grayscale kept the energy high through their entire set as fans were crowdsurfing and moshing, smiles never leaving their faces. The atmosphere that Grayscale created throughout their performance was incredible, and it was an amazing experience to be a part of. They continued their set with Babylon (Say It to My Face), Over Now, Beautiful Things, Fever Dream, and finally, Atlantic.
Finally, last but certainly not least was The Summer Set! As they took the stage, fans went wild with cheers of excitement. The Summer Set opened their set with The Color of Everything, Street Lightning, The Boys You Do (Get Back At You), and Jukebox (Life Goes On). The energy that The Summer Set gave was incredible to watch, and the crowd reciprocated that energy right back. They continued their set with Change Your Mind, All My Friends, Boomerang, Chelsea, and Lightning in a Bottle, making the crowd go wild as all of their favorite songs were played.
Overall, it was an incredible show with 3 amazing performances by all 3 acts. While the Blossom Tour is coming to an end, make sure to keep up with The Summer Set on all streaming platforms, and stream their most recent single release - Under The Influence(r).
