Waterparks - Intellectual Property Tour Review
Last week, Rams Head Live in Baltimore welcomed Waterparks for an amazing sold-out show of their Intellectual Property Tour, celebrating their latest album, Intellectual Property, released on April 13 2023. Waterparks is joined by Elliot Lee and Hunny on this leg of the tour!
As doors opened, fans were gathered around the block eagerly awaiting the night that Waterparks had in store for them. The sold out crowd packed into the venue, and the night was ready to begin.
From start to finish, each member of the band interacted well with the crowd. The band, consisting of Awsten Knight, Geoff Wigington, and Otto Wood, started the set off with ST*RFUCKER, Numb, Rare, and Stupid for You. Fans immediately got up off their feet, and the energy levels in the room soared. The setlist continued with one of my personal favorites, Crave, and two more songs from their recent album, Brainwashed, and 2 Best Friends.
As Awsten Knight bantered back and forth with the crowd, smiles radiated throughout the audience. The atmosphere created by both the band and the fans was incredible, and so much fun to be around! The pure excitement in the room was obvious as the audience sang every single word to every song.
This was my 5th Waterparks show, and every single time I'm amazed by how this band manages to raise the bar. The talent that each member holds is exceptional, and their chemistry as a band is unlike any other. They have so much fun on stage, and their fans have so much fun in the crowd. The stage production and visuals added a really unique element to the performance, giving it even more depth and excitement.
They continued through the set with [Reboot], Royal, Telephone, and Ritual. The energy continued to grow throughout the night, and the room was continuously filled with voices of excited fans screaming the words to their favorite songs.
The show ended with Real Super Dark, Turbulent, and Funeral Grey, making for a high energy end to an incredible night. Overall, the show was amazing, and it was incredibly clear how hard the band has been working. If you're not familiar with Waterparks, make sure to go check out their latest album, Intellectual Property, and catch them on tour in a city near you!
